Treswell Horses

I am a bit fearful of all animals that are bigger than me, but I love walking in the countryside. My young man is from a farming family and has no such fears. We were walking near Treswell in Nottinghamshire and were following a path that didn't just go near a farm, it went right through the middle! Once we were through the farmyard (complete with barking dogs), I relaxed, but then I was faced with a field full of horses, and our path went right through the middle of them. There was literally nowhere else to turn, so with my other half keeping me calm, we walked through them, with me clinging on to his arm and pushing him slightly in front of me (as a sacrifice). When we were clear and after a few meters had passed, I turned around to see what I had achieved and was greeted by this lovely tranquil scene, which a few seconds before had made my heart race with fear.
