This is taken from an action shot of an Indigenous American girl during a demonstration of a tribal dance. Annie has endeavoured to capture the authenticity of the dance by the unmistakeable stance of the dancer which seems to capture the beautiful femininity and strength of the young woman.
There is an evocation of light, colour and warmth creating a lovely atmospheric piece simultaneously capturing a snapshot of the celebration.
