Brothers

The ‘Brothers’ were captured from a very busy photograph with many others in the picture of a ceremonial event. They stood out to me because of the concentrated and focused looks at the same time. This reminded me of how the Indigenous Americans carry their ancestry close to them and have never allowed themselves to be completely westernized against all odds. For me the painting reflects the feeling of Brotherhood and unity which we could all benefit from.
